CCDPR Ponce Chapter Wins Project of the Year Award for its Generous Donation for the Restoration of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe

The Civic Ladies Club of Puerto Rico (CCDPR), Ponce Chapter, has been recognized with the Project of the Year award for its generous donation of $50,000 towards the restoration of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Ponce. This contribution has been fundamental to advance the conservation and renovation of this important historical monument.

The cathedral, a symbol of faith and culture for the Ponce community, will greatly benefit from these funds, which will help preserve its structure, renovate interiors, and maintain artistic and architectural elements.

In a special ceremony, representatives of the CCDPR Ponce Chapter and members of the community celebrated this achievement. The chapter president expressed her gratitude to the members and donors who made this contribution possible, highlighting the importance of community effort.

Thanks to this donation, the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe is closer to recovering its original splendor, guaranteeing its preservation for future generations.
